On September 8, 2024 I cooked a tri tip using a base formula of a steak seasoning I'd been using for over 20 years. I made a few modifications that night, namely switching from table to salt to kosher salt and more of it, adding a couple of more peppers, and one surprise in a small amount at the end. It was one of the best things I had ever tasted.

Within two weeks I was sending out homemade samples, along with a few other blends, in bottles. The response was immediate - Four Pepper Blend was legit. And while I was telling people to use it one steaks, they were using it on everything.
