I learned to make it because I wasn’t going without tacos.

Living in Asia meant learning to cook the Mexican food I missed. Tortillas from scratch. Seasoning I mixed myself.

This bottle grew out of those meals.

New Mexico chile powder, cumin, garlic, and onion bring the familiar taco flavor you’re looking for, but with no cornstarch or maltodextrin.

Start with tacos. Keep it handy for creamy chicken tortilla soup, rice bowls, and the leftovers you’re looking forward to.

I'm a native New Mexican and have tacos and taco seasoning in my blood. I've tried every taco seasoning out there over the years and have found some that are pretty decent and some that are pretty bad. This one outranks every single one of them. This is the absolute best taco seasoning out there, and I don't know how they could be made better. My wife agrees, and we have used two full containers in the last month.

The seasonings are so good that I have bought 10 of the Gulf of America pack to give away for Christmas presents. My only hope is that eventually this is available in a much much larger container as I've started to have to steal from that stockpile. It's that good.

Why switch from your usual packet?

Start with the chile.

New Mexico chile powder gives this blend its bright chile character. Cumin, garlic, and onion build the familiar savory flavor around it.

You’ll recognize where it belongs at the first bite: ground beef in a warm tortilla, shrimp under pineapple salsa, chicken in a bowl of soup.

Season your food without adding a thickener.

ENAK Taco contains spices, salt, chili peppers, garlic, and onion. No cornstarch. No maltodextrin.

That makes it useful anywhere you want the seasoning: directly on shrimp, stirred into soup, or sprinkled over vegetables. If your usual packet thickens the pan juices, expect a different texture here.

Use the amount your meal needs.

A little for a single serving. More for a skillet of taco filling. A spoonful at a time as you season a pot of soup.

You decide how much goes in, then put the bottle back in the cupboard for the next meal.

Taco night is just the beginning

More than just ground beef and chicken

Shrimp tacos with pineapple salsa

Seasoned shrimp, sweet pineapple, and the brightness of salsa in a warm tortilla. This is one of the ways I’ve been cooking with Taco at home.

Creamy chicken tortilla soup

The same chile, cumin, garlic, and onion belong in a bowl, too. Taco seasons the soup, bringing those familiar flavors into the creamy broth around the chicken.

Taco burgers

Ground beef seasoned with Taco in a bun instead of a tortilla, topped the way you choose. X user and Taco superfan @crappie-doc shared this one.

Taco pizza

Another share from @crappie-doc. Recreating the taco chain's taco pizza. There's no end to this seasoning's uses.

The seasoning I made because I missed home.

When I moved to China in 2009, I was excited to try the food around me.

I also wanted tacos.

Finding the Mexican food I was used to wasn’t easy where I lived, so I started learning to make it. The tortillas. The fillings. The seasoning.

Over eight years in China, Malaysia, and Indonesia, cooking those meals became one of the ways I stayed connected to home.

When Maggie and I came back to Alabama, I brought that cooking with me.

ENAK Taco grew out of those years. It’s the seasoning I learned to make for a meal I wasn’t willing to give up.

A bundle first. Three bottles of Taco next.

One customer ordered our Gulf of America Bundle, which includes Four Pepper Blend, Taco, and Cajun Heat.

Five weeks later, they came back for three bottles of Taco.

Another customer ordered 17 bottles of Taco between March 6 and October 1, 2026. I'm pretty sure she'll be back for more.

Put it to work in your kitchen.

For ground beef or chicken filling:
Add while cooking and stir to distribute it evenly. Taste once the meat is cooked, then adjust.

For shrimp:
Toss with a little oil and Taco seasoning before cooking.

For soup:
Stir into the pot, let the flavors come together, and taste before adding more. Remember that your broth may already contain salt.

For rice bowls and vegetables:
Start with a light sprinkle and build to your preference.

Taco already contains salt. Leave out your usual extra salt on the first cook and adjust after tasting.

A few questions before taco night

What makes it different from a seasoning packet?

New Mexico chile powder is central to the flavor, supported by cumin, garlic, and onion. There’s no cornstarch or maltodextrin, and you can measure out what you need for anything from shrimp to a pot of soup.

Will it make a thick sauce like my usual packet?

It contains no cornstarch, so it won’t thicken pan juices in the same way as a starch-containing mix. Add liquid according to your recipe and reduce it to the consistency you like.

How much should I use?

The right amount depends on what you’re making and how strongly you like it seasoned. My recommendation is 2-4 tbsp Taco seasoning per pound of meat. Always start on the low, thoroughly mix, and add more as desired.

Is it spicy?

Chile and cumin are part of the flavor, but it is not spicy at all. It is the mildest blend in the ENAK lineup.

Is it only for tacos?

No. Try it in creamy chicken tortilla soup, rice bowls, beans, or taco salads. Customers also use it in ranch dressing and on eggs.

What’s in it?

Salt, spices, chili peppers, garlic, and onion.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping is $4.95 on orders under $35. Orders of $35 or more qualify for free shipping.

What if I’m not satisfied?

We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied. No stress. No hassles.
